John Day, Painted Hills Part 3

The Painted Hills Unit, covers 3,132 acres (1,267 ha) It is situated about 9 miles (14 km) northwest of Mitchell along Burnt Ranch Road, which intersects U.S. Route 26 west of Mitchell.

First a map of the area: I realized it might help to know where this beautiful land is.
